839South Division Street, Buffalo, passed away unexpectedly Thursday (November 13, 2008) at herhome.
Born in Hornell, September 16, 1945, thedaughter of Robert and Doris Nichols Snowden, she had attended Hornell High School and was a member of the Hornell United Methodist Church.
She was predeceased by her husband George Withey and her son Scott Withey.
She is survived by her parents, Robert and Doris Snowden,her daughters, Bridget, Tammy and Angie, 3 sons, Martin(Margaret), David(Beverly), and Joseph (Missy) Withey, 1 sister,Kathleen (Charles) Bill of Arkport, 4 brothers, John (Ursula) Snowden of LasVegas, Navada, William (Diane) Snowden of FairfaxStation, Virginia, Michael (Susan) Snowden of Hornell and Richard (Danielle) Snowdenof Buffalo, 20 grand and great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces& nephews.

The family will be presentto receive friends on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Bender - Brown & Powers FuneralHome, 354 Canisteo St, Hornell where funeral services will be held on Monday at 1:00 PM with Betty's brother, MichaelSnowden officiating. Burial will be in Rural Cemetery,Hornell.
