Betty A. Wilson, 79, of Tuttle Rd., passed away Sunday (September 8, 2013) at home.
Born in Fremont, November 7, 1933, the daughter of Oscar and Nina (Barber) Tuttle, she had resided her entire life in Hornell. Betty was a graduate of the Hornell High School and retired as a seamstress for the former Marion-Rohr in Hornell. She enjoyed animals, gardening, cooking, baking, her family but most of all her grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, David Wilson Sr., one son, David E. Wilson Jr., one daughter, Julie Ann Wilson, daughter-in-law, Melissa Wilson, two brothers, Don and Milton Tuttle, one sister, Margaret Brewster.
She is survived by one son, Oscar Wilson of Rochester, two daughters, Linda (Dan) Lambert of Avoca, and Nancy (Pecky) Pettibone of Hornell, grandchildren, Heather (Ben) Joseph, Dave Wilson III, James (Erica Drake) Lambert and Ashley (Doug Lightfoote) Wilson, great grandchildren, Haley Joseph, Eric Joseph and Taylor Lambert, one sister, Virginia Smith of Bath, several nieces and nephews.

The family will be present to receive friends from 2Pm until 5Pm on Sunday (Sept. 15, 2013), at the Bender - Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo St, Hornell. Funeral services will follow calling hours at 5Pm at the funeral home, Rev. Jeff Brewster, officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Canisteo.
