Hornell, NY: Age 87 of Hornell passed away in the early hours of December 4, 2020 at Elderwood of Hornell where she had been a resident for the last 2 1/2 years due to Alzheimer’s.
Betty was born August 25, 1933 in Troy, Pennsylvania to the late Gordon and Dorothy Woods Jenkins. She was predeceased by her husband, Bart F. Quinn and her daughter Pamela Lee Bailey.
Betty is survived by her daughters Doreen A (Thomas) Sackett of Hornell, NY; Beth Ann (Mark Bailey) Smith of Elmira, NY; Son Duane R. Smith of Florida. Betty is also survived by seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Honoring Betty’s wishes there will be no viewing or funeral service. At the family’s convenience, there will be a private memorial to spread her ashes at a later date.
