11 Spruce St.,passed away Friday (July 21, 2006) at her home.



Born in Canisteo, September 27, 1929, the daughterof Henry M. and Mary Augusta Petteys Vance Sr., shehad resided in Canisteo nearly all herlife. She had resided on

Stephens Street inCanisteo for 50 years, before losing her home to fire about 3 years ago. She had been employed as a receiving clerkfor the Canisteo School District from 1977 until herretirement in 1991.



She was predeceased byher parents, her son, Gary V. Harrison, 2brothers, Eugene and Ernest Vance as well as her former husband, FrankHarrison.

She is survived by one son: Richard Harrison of Canisteo, one brother: Henry M. (Marjorie) Vance Jr. of Canisteo, one GrandSon, Gary Harrison II of Canisteo, 2brothers-in-law, Virgil and Robert Harrison, several nieces & nephews.



The family will be present to receive friends from 2-4 & 7-9PM Monday and from 11 AM until 1 PM Tuesday at the Brown& Powers Funeral Home, 6 Spruce St.,Canisteo where funeral services willfollow calling hours at 1 :00 PM.Rev. Raymond Shaw and Rev. PatrickHarrison will officiate. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery,Canisteo.
