Bertha C "Bert" Evanosky, 79, of 235 West Main Street, passed away Monday (February 1, 2010) at home.
Born in Franklinville, September 24, 1930, the daughter of Bonnie and Bertha Chadwick Fuller, she had resided in Angelica, since 1994. Bert enjoyed gardening, flowers, embroidery, crocheting, reading, cooking and baking for everyone, and loved animals.
She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Evanosky in 1994, her sisters Ester Wood, Marie Braley, Ruth Briggs, Margaret Murphy, Ruby Claypool, brothers Leonard, Leon and Francis Fuller.
She is survived by her daughter Marjorie (William) Hyman of Winchester, VA, her son Douglas (Janet) George of Cohocton, her sister Delores Crandall of Angelica, 6 grandchildren Earl George, James George, Tamra Mallaber, Cynthia Hart, Erica Ploski, and Alexander Tietz, 16 great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family will be present 11am-1pm Friday, at the Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 101 West Ave., Angelica, where Funeral services will be held at 1:00 OM, with Rev. Michael Smith, and her nephew Leonard Fuller officiating. Burial will be in Until the Day Dawn Cemetery.
