3166 George Road,passed away Saturday (May27, 2006) at Highland Hospitalin Rochester.



Born in West Almond, May 16, 1929, the son of Edmund andHelen George, he had resided in West Almond all his life. He married Irene Wheaton George on February 14, 1950 whosurvives. Beaver was a Dairy farmer all his life. He was a communicant ofSacred Heart Catholic Church of Angelica, was a member of the West Almond andBirdsall Grange, an Allegany County Fair Board member for 30+ years, belongedto the Daltonand Nunda Masons, a member of the Konhocton Dairy Assoc., a State Deputy forthe Allegany County Grange for 12 years, the former director of the AngelicaGLF, and had a 4-H Club in West Almond for many years. He also enjoyedwoodworking (many of his projects are in his families homes) Hunting andvolunteering where ever he was needed.



He was predeceased by his parents and his son Louis George in June of 2003,his sisters Elizabeth Emerson, Gertrude Kersch, Genevieve McMahon, MildredAlmeter, Madelyn Grusendorf, Mary Dobson, Leona Davison and Evelyn Reynolds,his brothers Norman, Henry and Kenneth George.



He is survived by hiswife of 56 years Irene George, 2 daughters Susan George of W. Almond, Brenda(Robert) Spencer of Franklinville, 2 sons Gary (Rita) George of W. Almond, andDavid (Nancy) George of W. Almond, Daughter in law Bert George of W. Almond,sister in law Helen George Shoemaker and brother in law Clair Almeter, 11grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.



The family will be present to receive friends from 2-4 & 7-9 PM Wednesday, at the Brown& Powers Funeral Home, 101 West Ave.,Angelica, where a Rosary Service will be at8:30pm Wednesday. A Mass ofChristian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 11:00am at Sacred Heart Church with Father Gene Ulrich as celebrant. Burial will be at Almond Woodlawn Cemetery.
