Bennie George Demick

Bennie G. Demick, 71, a resident of the Wellsville Manor passed away Tuesday January 15, 2013.
Born in Angelica, June 5, 1941, the son of Floyd Mack and Grace (Evens) Demick, he was a lifelong area resident, graduating from Angelica Central School Class of 1961. Bennie enjoyed playing basketball in high school, and was a member of the FFA. He was self-employed for most of his life, doing yard work, cutting wood, and mowing many lawns. Bennie enjoyed collecting miniature race cars, especially Fords, and looked forward to attending the Allegany County Fair every year. Bennie had many girlfriends calling all of them "Hon" or "Sweetheart", and will be remembered for his kind demeanor, kind heart, leaving many family and friends behind.
He was predeceased by his parents, his sister Susan Howard in 2002, as well as an infant sister Grace Demick and an infant brother Gordon Demick.
He is survived by his aunt Betty Evens of Smethport, cousins Donald (Sandy) Demick of Angelica, Judy Evens of Port Allegheny, as well as several other cousins, his nephew Earl (Cyndi) Kuhn of Olean, his best friends and caretakers Anita Austin of Angelica, and Craig Hutchinson of Angelica, as well as Delores "Lori" Crandall of Angelica, several great nieces and nephews.
The family will be present 12-2pm Friday, January 18, 2013, at the Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 101 West Avenue, Angelica, where funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, with the Rev. Marc Chamberlain officiating. Burial will be in Until the Day Dawn Cemetery, Angelica.
