Barnet "Bernard" Mintz, 88, formerly of 129 East Main Street, passed away peacefully Wednesday (March 28, 2012) at Ira Davenport Hospital in Bath.
Born in New York City, June 24, 1923, he was the son of Julius and Lina Maretsky Mintz. He was a long time resident of the ARC Residence in Hornell, and at the Steuben County Health Related Facility in Bath for the last 2 years.
He was predeceased by his parents.
He is survived by his friends and caregivers at the Steuben ARC.
Friends are invited to attend a graveside service and burial on Sunday at 10 AM at Beth-El Cemetery in Hornell.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Bender-Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo Street, Hornell.
