Arthur A. "Junie" Stuck Jr., 66, of 6338 Shaw Road, passed away Monday (April 22, 2013) at Jones Memorial Hospital.
Born in Richburg, June 15, 1946, the son of Arthur A. and Gladys (Goodliff) Stuck Sr., he was a lifelong area resident. Junie was retired from Alfred State College where he worked as a custodian and on the grounds crew. He also had worked for Buffalo Slag in Alfred. He enjoyed square dancing, playing cards, fishing, the outdoors, and was a former member of the Hi Ho CB club. Junie will be most remembered for his sense of humor, being a hard worker, and a dedicated family man.
He was predeceased by his parents, his son Robert L. Stuck in 2011, his first wife Linda Wheaton Stuck in 1998, a sister Florence Gordon, and 3 brothers Robert, Donald and James Stuck.
He is survived by his wife Linda Stoddard Stuck whom he married on September 9, 2000, his daughter Vicki (Keith) Parsons of Hornell, 6 grandchildren including Mariah Parsons, 2 sisters Lillian (Howard) Blauvet, Joyce (James) Forrest, 4 brothers Kenneth (Marion), Frederick (Barbara), Douglas (Linda), and Gary Stuck, and 3 great grandchildren.
The family will be present 2-4 & 6-8 PM Saturday, April 27, 2013, at the Bender - Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo St, Hornell, where funeral services will be held at 8:00 PM, with the Rev. Steve Dygert officiating. Burial will be in Almond Woodlawn Cemetery.
