Arcefus Jenkins, 99, passed away Thursday (March 5, 2009) at McAuley Manor where he had resided the past 8years.
Born in Atlanta, Georgia , October 8, 1909, he had resided in Hornell for many years. He had been employed asa farm laborer and truck driver most of his life.
He is survived by his long time friends, the Harold Gadsdenfamily of Hornell.
The family will be present to receive friends from 6PM- 7PM Sunday at the Bender - Brown& Powers Funeral Home,
