Anson P. Burdick Jr., 75, of 480 Maple City Dr., passed away Monday (June 4, 2018) at Elderwood At Hornell, NY.
Born in Warsaw, NY, October 1, 1942, the son of Anson P. and Katie L. Brotherton Burdick Sr., he was a graduate of Canisteo Central School and had resided in California for 37 years prior to his return to Hornell in 2012. During Anson's time in California, he and his wife Linda were part of a missionary team that refurbished several Baptists Churches. Anson was employed in the Aerospace industry during his time in California. He was a member of the Hillside Baptist Church in Hornell.
He was predeceased by his wife Linda on November 13, 2015 to whom he was married to on June 22, 1963 as well as a brother Robert C. Frank.
He is survived by a son James Burdick of Minnesota, 2 brothers; Terry (Margie) Frank of Castile and David Burdick of California and a grandson; Nathan Burdick of Minnesota as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
