Harrison
Mar 19, 1942 — Jul 9, 2026
Annie (Tommie) Harrison
Annie Harrison 84 better known as Tommie was promoted to glory into the presence of her precious Lord and Savior July 9th at home.
Born in Atlanta, Georgia on March 19, 1942 to Thomas and Ora Edna Fowler.
She worked a variety of jobs as well as being a self-employed professional seamstress. She was proud of her First People heritage as part of the Cherokee Nation. Tommie served in the National guard and was in the first group of woman enlisted in the regular U.S. Army after the W.A.C was abolished.
Tommie was a strong woman of faith and a staunch defender of God's Written Word. You did not mess with it unless you wanted a long discussion.
July 28th, 2001 she married the absolute love of her life Patrick and began a wonderful journey. She was one of the finest examples of the biblical helpmate. I am a better man because of her prayers and servanthood. She will be greatly missed.
Tommie was predeceased by her father at a young age and her "daddy" Calvin Gosman and mother Ora Edna Gosman, her first husband Gerald Webb, brother Clifford Gamel, daughter Angela at birth, grandson Joshua Webb, brother-in-law Myron "Bud" Rider and sister-in-law Carmen Harrison.
She is survived by her husband Patrick Harrison. Her sons James Webb of Georgia, John Webb of S. Carolina, Michael Gosman of Georgia who she raised as her own, Patrick (Brenda) Harrison II of Corning, Jeremy Harrison of Whitesville, Jay Harrison of Corning. Daughter Amy Harrison of S. Carolina, daughter-in-law Angie Harrison of Corning. Mother-in-law Celesta Harrison, brother-in-law Lafrone Harrison, Julia Rider sister-in-law of Hornell. 19 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. A big thank you to all her "special" sons and daughters and her many friends for the love you gave over the years.
Special thank you to Christy and Jaimie and all her care team from the VA, to Annette and her team at CareFirstNy for making these last few weeks comfortable.
Also, thank you Bender, Brown and Powers for your professionalism in handling the arrangements. It was a great help in easing me into this new chapter of my life.
Honoring Tommie's wishes there will be no calling hours or service. Burial was in the National Cemetery in Bath.
