Anna Pavlovich, 93, previously of NYC and New Jersey, passed away early Saturday morning (December 22, 2018) at Highland Healthcare in Wellsville.
Born in Myjava, Slovakia, July 25, 1925, the daughter of John and Anna (Viskup) Hluchy, she moved to NYC from Slovakia in 1946 and from there to New Jersey and in 2010 she moved to the Wellsville area. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Slovak Church in NYC. Anna loved to sing.
She was predeceased by her parents, a brother; John Hluchy, a sister-in-law; Olga Hluchy and her husband John B. Pavlovich on April 21, 2001.
She is survived by a brother; Stephen Hluchy of Rochester, a sister; Elizabeth Agati of Connecticut, 3 nieces; Carol (Bill) Carson of North Salem, NY, Michele (Larry Deis) Hluchy of Alfred and Stefanie (Francisco Delgado) Hluchy of Seville, Spain and 2 great-nephews; William and Alexander Carson.
