Ann L. Reitnauer, 84, of East Washington Street, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday (October 26, 2016) at her home.



Born in Niles Valley, PA, July 7, 1932, the daughter of Merwin and Eleanor McInroy Fuller, she had resided in Woodhull during her young life, moving to Hornell in 1954. Ann was a graduate of the Woodhull Central School, and received her Registered Nursing Degree from the Former St. James Mercy School of Nursing. She was employed for several years at St. James Mercy Hospital and as an RN in the office of Dr. Betty Harder in Hornell.



Ann was a long time active member of the Hillside Baptist Church, former sunday school teacher, served as secretary for the Missionary Committee and was one of the "Sunshine Girls" of the church.



She was predeceased by her parents.



She is survived by her husband, Karl Reitnauer to whom she was married May 22, 1954, two daughters; Nancy (David) Lewis of Arkport and Kathryn (Paul) HerrNeckar of Hornell, two sons, Otto (Sharla) Reitnauer of Georgia and Max Reitnauer of Maryland, two brothers, Reg (Grayce) Fuller of Jasper and Alfred (Dorothy) Fuller . 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

The family will be present to receive friends at the Bender - Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo St, Hornell on Tuesday (Nov. 1, 2016) from 2-4 and 6-8 PM . Funeral services will be held on Wednesday (Nov. 2, 2016) at 11 AM at the Hillside Baptist Church, 805 County Route 66 in Hornell. Rev Craig Brittingham officiating. Burial will be in Rural Cemetery, Hornell.
