Andrew George Morse, 61, of Hornell, NY, passed away peacefully on May 9th, 2026 surrounded by family.

Andy was born on February 10, 1965, to the late George H. Morse and Andrea A. (Pfalzer) Morse. He was a loving father, proud grandfather, and loyal friend.

Andy dedicated 24 years of service to Steuben County, where he held several positions throughout his career, most recently serving as Purchasing Director. Prior to his time with the county, he worked for 20 years at Central Tractor. He was known for his strong work ethic, intelligence, quick wit, and ability to fix or figure out just about anything.

He found his greatest peace outdoors - whether at his pond or simply standing with family and friends enjoying the land he loved so much. To Andy, his friends were family, and the memories made there meant everything to him.

He is survived by his daughters: Andrea (Brad) Miller, Jordan (Scott) Mulvaney, and Taylor Morse; Grandchildren Corbin Miller, Chase and Mason Mulvaney; along with his fiancée of 12 years, Brenda Thurston.

He is also survived by his sisters, Kathleen (Bob)Goldstrom, Susan (Alan) Wright, Linda Heaman, and Terry (Brad) McCulloch along with several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and lifelong friends.

Honoring Andy's wishes, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date where friends and family can gather to share stories, laughter, and memories.
