Andrew R Boag, 95, formerly of Hornell, passed away Monday (March 6, 2006) in Shelburne, Vermont.
Born in Hornell, January 17, 1911, the son of Thomas andMary (Roe) Boag, he had resided inHornell, before moving to Vermontin 1995. He had graduated Hornell High School and alsograduated from Bentley School of Accounting. Andrew had been employed as anaccountant for the former Merrill Hosiery co. of Hornell, and an office managerfor 7 years at Off Track Betting. He was a member of the Hornell Moose, theHornellsville Lodge #44 F & AM,and was the secretary for the Hornell Elksfor 31 years. He was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Hornell and, chairmanfor the Steuben County Civil Service Commission.
He was predeceased by his wife Audrey Kadle Boag in 1989.
He is survived by hisdaughter Linda Hults of Worcester,Vt and a granddaughter MollyHults of SeattleWA and friends Bill Hults and Tom Eckart.

The family will be present Friday from 1-3pm, at the Robertson Funeral Home, (new location) 354 Canisteo Street, Hornell, where funeral services will be held at the conclusion ofcalling hours at 3:00pm, with Michael Childs officiating. Burial will be at Almond Woodlawn Cemetery.
