Alice R Flint, 75, of 6281 Crosby Creek Road, passed away Wednesday (July 14, 2010) at Rochester General Hospital.
Born in Hornell, April 20, 1935, the daughter of Edwin and Alice Dyke Stiles, she was a lifelong area resident, graduating from Hornell High School. Alice will be remembered as a hardworking, caring, loving, wife, mother, and grandmother who will be greatly missed by her family.
She was predeceased by her son Michael Flint in 1990, as well as several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her husband Elwin L Flint, 4 daughters Paula (Wynn) Gifford of Xenia, OH, Victoria (John) Steen of Canisteo, Lisa (Richard) Robinson of Hornell, Michele (Michael) O'Dea of Arkport, 2 sons Russell Flint of Erwin, Andrew Flint of Hornell, 2 sisters Mary Cone of Hornell, Lois (Jim) Brizzee of Hornell, 2 brothers Paul (Donna) Stiles of Hornell, Ira (Patricia) Stiles of Painted Post, and 9 grandchildren.
The family will be present 12-2pm Sunday, July 18, 2010, at the Bender - Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo St, Hornell, where Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, with the Rev. Craig Brittingham officiating. Burial will be in Hornell Rural Cemetery.
