Alice Mary Mosher, 62, of 192 Lincoln Street, passed away on Wednesday (August 9, 2017) after a long battle with illness.
Born in Hornell, NY, December 18, 1954, the daughter of Francis C. and Ruth Hall Baumgarten, she was a lifelong area resident, and had worked for Stern & Stern Textiles in Hornell for over 43 years. She was an amazing person, always caring for everybody else before herself. Alice was an incredible wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
She was predeceased by her parents and a grandson Dillen McCormick.
She is survived by her husband and best friend Gerald A. Mosher, whom she married on December 26, 1970, her son Gerald A. (Melinda) Mosher Jr. of Hornell, 2 daughters Carol A. (Darrin) McCormick of Canisteo, Tina M. (Kevin) Patton of Canisteo, 2 brothers John (Stacy) Baumgaretn, Joe (Nikki) Baumgarten, 5 sisters Ruth (Larry) Raycroft, Eva(Mike) Coleman, Diane (Steve ) Dipasquale, Pam (David) Hitchcock, Susan (Art) Hollabaugh, 8 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter "Miss Olivia" as well as several nieces, and nephews.
The family will be present on Saturday (August 12, 2017 from 5-7pm at the Bender - Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo Street in Hornell, where a Funeral services will be held at 7:00pm with Deacon Robert McCormick officiating.
