Alfred M. Cummings, 70, formerly of Sun Haven Dr. in Port Richey FL, passed away Friday (June 8, 2012) at the Hornell Gardens.
Born in Olean, April 4, 1942, the son of Alfred and Lillian Pavinta Cummings Sr., he had resided in Olean until moving to Port Richey 16 years ago. Alfred was a graduate of the Jamestown Community College and served his country in the United States Air Force for 20 years earning the rank of Master Sergeant. He liked woodworking, baseball and bingo.
He was predeceased by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Doris (Cormier) Cummings whom he married on Nov. 30, 1963, one daughter; Kathyron (Kevin) Maine of Canisteo, one sister; Audrey Cummings of Wellsville.

Honoring Alfred's wishes there will be no service. Burial will be in Bath National Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Bender-Brown & Powers Funeral Home of Hornell.
