Albert T. Stockman, 87, of
Brooklyn St, passed away Wednesday (June 13, 2007) at Bath VAMC.
Born in E. Amherst, December 27, 1919, the sonof Albert and Laura TheiringStockman Sr, he had resided in Angelica since 1980. Almarried the former Shirley Boulden Stockman who survives,and had served during World War II in the Army Air Force. He had retired fromthe Williamsville Central Schoolas a mechanic in 1980. Al had also been a landscaper for 30 years in the Buffalo and E Amherst areas. He was a communicant of St Mary's Churchin Swormville. Al was a member of the AngelicaGrange, Angelica Lions, and a social member of the Angelica Legion post 414, anexempt member of the Transit Fire co., a life member of the A. J. Jurek Post 1672, and loved to garden and woodwork.
He was predeceased by his parents, a daughter Patricia Hairfield, 2 brothers Adrian,and Earl Stockman and half brother Sy Abt.
He is survived by his wife Shirley, a daughter Sharon AnneFuller of Niagara Falls, a son Gary (LuGene) Stockmanof Cheektowaga 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and half brother WalterAbt .
The family was present 12-2pmSaturday, June 16, 2007,at the Brown & Powers Funeral Home,
101 West Ave., Angelica, where funeralservices were held Saturday, at 2:00PM, with Father Dennis Mancuso officiating. Burial will be in Bath National Cemetery.
