A Patricia Lowrey, 83, of

Waterwells Rd, passed awaySunday (May 27, 2007)at McAuley Manor.



Born in Wales ,May 1, 1924, thedaughter of Oliver Percy and Mary Violet Vranch Cooper,she had resided in Alfred Station for many years. Pat had served in the RoyalCanadian Air Force, and later in the US Navy during World War II. She married Reed D Lowreyon Nov. 26, 1945. Pat had retired from Alfred Almond School as a belovedteacher, and had also taught in Whitesville. She had been active in the FacultyWives Club at Alfred State College, was a bowler, a reader, and was an allaround people person. Pat and her husband loved to Travel, seeing more than 56countries.



She is survived by her husband Reed LowreySr, a daughter Kim (Adelbert)"JR" Gayhart of Alfred, a son Reed D Lowrey Jr of Key West , 4 grandchildren Peter Lowrey, Britt Price, Adam Gayhart,and Lindsay Gayhart and 7 great grandchildren.



The family will be present 2-4 & 7-9 PM Wednesday, at the Bender - Brown &Powers Funeral Home,

354 CanisteoSt, Hornell.Funeral/Memorial services will be held at the Alfred United Methodist Churchon Thursday, at 11:00 AM, Rev.Dan Knopf officiating. Burial will be in Alfred Rural Cemetery.
