A Louise Dieter, 75, of
5222 Wood Spur Rd, passedaway unexpectedly Thursday (May 24, 2007) at her home.
Born in Machias, September 14, 1931, the daughter of Kendall and Azeltha Snyder, she had resided in the area most of herlife. On May 24, 1952she married Franklin D Dieter, who predeceased in October of 1996. Louise hadworked for the Armor Meat Plant, and for many years at SivcoFurs of Canisteo. She was a member of the Canisteo American Legion Auxillary. Louise was most well known for her "FamousCookies", hosting Halloween and Easter parties in Adrian for the kids,collecting and selling raffle tickets for anybody in need, and helping anyoneshe could. She also enjoyed gardening, dancing and karaoke.
She was predeceased by her husband Franklin and a sisterRuth .
She is survived by her mother AzelthaSnyder of Washington,3 sons Michael (Jeanine) Dieter of Canisteo, Frankie "Pat" (Paula) Dieter ofHornell, and David (Linda) Dieter of Canisteo.2daughters: Christina (Randy) White of Horseheads,Brenda Freas of Canisteo. 11 grandchildren, 13 greatgrandchildren 4 brothers Edwin, Richard, Robert and Roy 5 sisters Eloise, Marlynn, Vernan, Rosezelta, and Regina, several aunts, nieces and nephews,her lifelong best friend Wanda Bush, and good friend Lois Stage.
The family will be present 2-4 & 7-9 PM Tuesday, at the Brown & PowersFuneral Home,
6 Spruce St.,Canisteo, where funeral services will beheld Wednesday, at 11:00 AM,with the Rev. Donald Maynardofficiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Canisteo.
