Thomas H. Foster, 79, formerly of Crosby Creek Road, passed away Friday (October 28, 2011) at the Wellsville Manor Nursing Home

Born in North Hornell, October 9, 1932, the son of Howard and Elizabeth Smart Foster, he had resided in the Hornell and Arkport areas all his life. Foster served his country as a member of the New York Army National Guard in Hornell for 7 years.

He was predeceased by his parents.

He is survived by one brother. John Foster Sr. of Hornell. several nieces and nephews. Great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.

Honoring Fosters wishes, there will be no calling hours. A private family graveside service will be held at Rose Ridge Cemetery in Naples with Rev. Dudley Jenkins officiating.

Deb and Family,

I am very sorry I wasn't there for you and Tom during his last days. I am truly glad that I was there when he first came to the Manor and we became good friends. I will always remember him and his love of the services. He got to meet my youngest who is in the Air Force, and was very excited talking to him. My son really enjoyed meeting him too!

My love to one and all....he will truly be missed!
