Seresa R. Stuck, 88, of 8456 State Rt. 961F, passed away Saturday (August 21, 2010) at McAuley Manor.

Born in Campbell, January 14, 1922, the daughter of Frank H. and Lillian Whitten Swan, she had resided in Hornell for several years, residing in Arkport for the past 50 years. She had been employed at the former Blum Shoe Factory in Dansville, Westinghouse in Bath, Corning Glass and Stearns Poultry in Alfred..

She was predeceased by her parents, and her husband Evert Stuck in 2007 and a grandson, Timothy Phillipson.

She is survived by 2 sons, Harold (Bonnie) Phillipson of North Dakota, and Edward ( Nyla) Phillipson of Nebraska, 5 Grandchildren, Harold Phillipson Jr, John Phillipson, Jeremey Phillipson, Seresa Screws and Mark Phillipson, and one great grand daughter.

The family will be present to receive friends at the Bender - Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo St, Hornell on Tuesday from 11 AM until 1 PM where a Rebekah Lodge Memorial Service will be held at 12:45 PM. Funeral services will follow at 1 PM. Burial will be in Hornell Rural Cemetery.
