Nedra and Family, I am so sorry for your loss, Dick will be greatly missed. In working with him over many years I learned a great deal from him as did others. While he was a great leader at work he was also fun to be with after the job was done. He was a friend of my fathers who became a friend of mine. God bless you and your family, Steven L Smith

On behalf of the North Hornell Volunteer Fire Company, I would like to express our condolences to Nedra and the rest of the family of Richard.  The North Hornell Volunteer Fire Company remembers and appreciates the service of Richard while he was a member of the company.  It is because of men like Richard and his willingness to sacrifice and serve that the fire company exists and is able to protect the North Hornell community.  We are thankful for men like him.
