She was a wonderful friend and neighbor, with a generous heart and an indomitable spirit, who had a genuine smile for everyone she met. She faced life with courage, and persevered with an iron will. Nancy loved her animals, and also spent countless hours enjoying the sun and her flowers. She collected Hummel figurines, and shares that love with her granddaughters. She also loved a good bargain, and took great satisfaction in clipping and using every coupon possible. Nancy was a woman of quiet and enduring faith, and found pennies everywhere she went, which she picked up in remembrance of her father.
She was predeceased by her parents, Douglas and Esther Kerr, a brother, Thomas Kerr, and her infant daughter, Malissa.
She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Gary. Remembrances
Gary & family,
We wished we could be with you during this trying and heartbreaking time. We loved and
will miss Nancy very much. I totally regret not being able to see her before the surgery, but so
extremely, happy that she and I were able to talk on the phone, before she entered the hospital!

Dear Gary, Doug, Roger, and Families,
We are saddened by the Nancy's ordeal and untimely passing. She will be in our daily prayers and may the Lord have mercy on her soul and let the Perpetual Light shine upon her forever. Though we lived far apart for many years, we did get to see her at Hornell High School reunions and remember well her wedding day to Gary many years ago. Growing up on Hill Street - she was one of the gang - mostly boys - but nevertheless with an eternal smile and radiance. She blended well with her brothers Tommy, Dougie, Roger, the Hogans, etc. I even got to play piano duets a few times with her in our younger years. Her parents Doug and Ester were very proud of Nancy and rightly so - she was a beautiful girl, mother, and lady. We will all miss her dearly and treasure her memories.
Sincerely,
Barb & E. Frank Brown
