I can remember when I was first engaged to Bobby and he brought me to Hornell to meet Grandma and Grandpa.I was really nervous. We went to a local cornfield to get some corn to take to Grandma's for dinner and Bob drove past several cornfields before he stopped . I asked why and he explained that most of the fields grew cattlecorn and it wasn't good to eat. When we went back to the house, Grandma greeted us and saw the corn and asked if we had found the right field okay.....I replied that we found alot of Horsecorn.... at that point Bob started laughing and said that it wasn't horsecorn ....that it was cattlecorn.... I was sooo embarrassed  ..... Grandma stepped forward ( not laughing) and said" horses eat it too"..... put her arm around me and smiled. I will never forget that.... she made me feel welcome right away.  Grandma  made all of us around her feel at ease and accepted, those of us lucky enough to have been part of her wonderful world are truly blessed. Thank You, We Love You and We Will Miss You.

                                                                                               All of Our Love,
