Remembrances

Our trips to New York just won't be the same anymore without the visits with Aunt Joan.  I remember my girls telling their brother, "save some room after breakfast because everything Aunt Joan makes is always SO GOOD!"  And you know what?  They were right!  But what I remember most of all is her kindness and her big heart.  The kids and I send our love to Doug, Julie, Doug Jr, Nikki, Brandie, Brittany and all the rest.  Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you even though we can't be there in person.

JOANIE IS VERY SPECIAL TO ME.  SHE WAS ALWAYS THERE FOR ME, KIND OF LIKE A BIG SISTER. I HAVE SO MANY FOND MEMORIES OF HER AND DOUG AND THE KIDS.  ONE OF MY FAVORITE STORIES IS THE ONE OF HER TEACHING ME HOW TO DRIVE SO I COULD PASS MY DRIVERS TEST BECAUSE MY PARENTS (BERTHA & EDDIE) WERE TOO SCARED TO RIDE WITH ME. I LOVED ANY TIME WE COULD GET TOGETHER, WHETHER IT WAS BABYSITTING THE KIDS OR GOING FOR A SWIM IN THE SUMMER IN MY FOLKS' POND.  ALTHOUGH SHE WILL BE SO GREATLY MISSED, SHE WILL LIVE IN OUR HEARTS FOREVER.
