Angelica
Duane L. Graham, 72 of Angelica, NY, passed away peacefully at the Cuba Memorial Hospital on August 9, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born Sept 4, 1938 in Hornell, NY to Douglas & Calista Prentice Graham.
Duane graduated from Angelica Central School in 1956 and Alfred State College in 1958. He married Dorothy Marie Jennings on August 19, 1961. They were happily married just a few days short of 50 years. Duane & Dottie owned and operated the Country Kitchen Restaurant and Graham Income Tax Service for several years, and the Angelica Bakery from 1969 to present day. He was a member of the Angelica United Methodist Church, where he was organist for several years. He enjoyed being around people, gardening, yard work, playing piano and doing hymn sings at church.
He was predeceased by his parents, and his sister Della Bennett Merrill. He is survived by his wife, Dottie, and 5 children: Daniel (Suzanne) of Columbia Cross Roads, PA, Darcy Hogue of Rockledge, Fla, Darryl (Lisa) of Verona, WI, Deborah of Edgewater, MD, and Douglas (Adriane) of Titusville, Fla, 15 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and numerous relatives.

The family will be present to receive friends from 2Pm until 4Pm and from 7Pm until 9Pm at the Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 101 West Ave. Angelica, NY 14709. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at the Angelica United Methodist Church at 1Pm, Rev. Tim Middleton officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Angelica United Methodist Church, the Angelica Rescue Squad, the American Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.

I am so so sorry to hear that Duane passed away. I wish I could have been there with you.
I remember Duane fondly. Expecially at the bakery.

Please accept my condolences at this most difficult of times.
So sorry to hear of Duane's passing. He was a warm and caring man and was always there to help with tax issues. I am blessed that our paths crossed in life. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
